Art Gallery: Painted Rooms

Hotel des Arts' new show takes the art hotel concept to the next level.
The five emerging art talents featured are not only exhibiting their latest
exciting pieces, but have each painted an entire room of the hotel. The artists
were given carte blanche to create an immersive artistic experience beyond what
can be achieved within the confines of a canvas. The results are as personal
as each artist’s style.
The opening events will benefit Visual Aid,
a decidedly top-notch local non-profit organization that encourages artists with life threatening
illnesses to continue their creative work.

| Kelly Tunstall has created a feminine and whimsical fantasy journey, “Sarcasm and Reverence”. |
| Sam Flores stylized and introspective figures inhabit, sometimes even merge with the landscape around them. |
| David DeRosa bichromatic portraits are strikingly modern, and convey a depth of personality that belies their simplified color schemes. |
